Course objectives
Objective of the course is description and evaluation of individual types and categories of subject control and information retrieval languages. The course demonstrates principal developmental trends, current position and application of document subject control in the Czech libraries and information institutions. The course lays foundations of practical applications of knowledge organization and thesaurus. Main objectives of the course is presentation packages of information retrieval languages. lectures characterize systematic and subject retrieval languages .
