Course objectives (in Czech)

Jednosemestrální přednáška má za cíl seznámit posluchače s důležitou vývojovou etapou českého překladu poezie v letech 1885 - 1920, kdy se vytvořily některé dlouhodobě působící normy, a to jak z hlediska teoretických východisek, tak z hlediska literárního materiálu. Seminář si kladou za cíl blíže seznámit posluchače s anglickou a americkou poezií 19. století, která byla překládána do češtiny, a na základě kritického rozboru uvést posluchače do základů teorie literární komparatistiky a uměleckého překladu.
