Course objectives (in Czech): Předmět má za cíl seznámit studenty s tradičními i moderními pohledy na problematiku překladu. Důraz je kladen zejména na tzv. překladatelské protějšky v oblasti lexika, gramatiky, pragmatiky a stylu. Sylabus přednášky: 1. Obecná problematika překladu 2. Tradiční a moderní teorie překladu 3. Lexikální ekvivalence 4. Problematika na úrovni denotačního významu 5. Problematika na úrovni konotačního významu 6. Tzv. tabuová slova v překladu 7. Pragmatické hledisko 8. Ekvivalence gramatická 9.
