Myšlení o literatuře v antice, středověku a novověku; formování literární vědy jako relativně samostatné disciplíny s vlastním předmětem - protipozitivistický přelom v myšlení o literatuře a vznik teorie literatury jako relativně samostatné disciplíny (19./20. st.).
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Cílem semináře je seznámit posluchače s nejvlivnějšími literárněvědnými směry 20. století a jejich představiteli. Úvodní semináře jsou věnovány také myšlení o literatuře ve starověku, středověku a novověku, tedy obdobím před vznikem literární vědy v pravém slova smyslu. Součástí semináře je komentovaná četba stěžejních teoretických textů (viz literatura).
    Osnova semináře: Myšlení o literatuře v antice (Platón, Aristotelés, stoikové). Myšlení o literatuře ve středověku, renesanci a baroku. Myšlení o literatuře v klasicismu a osvícenství. Estetika mezi Hegelem a Kantem. Ruský formalismus. Český estetický strukturalismus. Francouzský strukturalismus. Nová kritika. Archetypální kritika.
