- Course objectives
- This course is designed for students of history, museology and archeology. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the philosophical conception of history in the history of philosophy and historiography. Philosophy of History I. deals with historically philosophical concepts before the constitution of the philosophy of history as a separate discipline - ends with the formation of natural law theory and ahistorical conception of the social contract in the 17th century. Highlights: cyclic and linear theory, the theory of decay, regularity in history, eschatology, periods of history. The secondary object of the Philosophy of History II.

9. The concept of historical events in humanist historiography (Machiavelli, Guicciardini)
10. Mechanismus social events in the philosophy of the 16th and 17 Century (Grotius, Hobbes, Spinoza, Locke)
