Course objectives
The genesis of public museums in Central Europe and the emphasis on museums in the Czech lands (in German and Czech language environment) in the 19th century, the emphasis on institutional, organizational, legal and social dimension of museums, confusion of priorities from science to national history and geography and archeology.
