Course objectives
Lecture series aimed at presenting the phenomenon of crisis, reflected by museological thinking. It is said that crisis of museum may come from the idea that the museum as a codification of storytelling "history" or "art", i.e. as an authoritative statement about the past and especially the present, which includes political and academic entitlement (i.e. policy entitlement formulated by another way) ceased to function, it became unreliable in the same way as power elites became unreliable in a given place and time. Is there any sense of the museum beyond conventional social and political structures?
