Course objectives
The course concentrates on important literary works that have been adapted to a movie. Two seminars are dedicated to a literary work and its movie adaptation. In the first seminar the film is shown. The students are supposed to look up some information about the author and read an assigned passage from his/her work for the following week. In the following lesson the relation between the film and the literary work is discussed and the text analysed. This course completes the cycle of Italian literature 1-3.
