Course objectives

A lectures are focused on czech and international legislative documents, official conceptual printied publications, declarations and international recommendations (IFLA, UNESCO, EU) for information institutions and libraries. The course pays close attention to harmonization new guidelines, draft bills and government bills. Objectives of the course is practical application of recommendaions, directives and legislative documents in the Czech information institutions and libraries.

• 1. Legislativa, knihovny a společnosti - úvod do problematiky
  2. Základní principy legislativy v knihovnicko-informační oblasti
  3. Knihovnická legislativa - mezinárodní vývoj a harmonizace v ČR
  4. Historický vývoj knihovních zákonů v ČR - podstatné charakteristiky
  5. Vývoj ostatních právních předpisů platných pro knihovnicko-informační instituce
  6. Legislativa k povinnému výtisku - charakteristika, vymezení a praktické uplatnění
  7. Vládní koncepce a strategie rozvoje knihoven v ČR - východiska, teze a zásady
  8. Uplatnění koncepcí a strategií v paxi a praktické činnosti knihoven v ČR
