Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the the development of comparative approach to literatures, their genetic relationships and typology.

  • Aims of comparative literary theory
    Typology of literary works
    Structuralism and poststructuralism
    Comparative literary science
    Czech and Slovak comparative literary science
    Basic terminology
    Interdisciplinary relationships between comparative literary science and other branches of literature
