- Course objectives
- Students will become familiar with issues of interaction in foreign language teaching. They will learn to organize the teaching unit in such a way that they take into account the individual peculiarities of the pupils, apply a differentiated approach and plan the teaching so that it is as effective as possible and the pupils use their time effectively in the classroom and during homework. Work in groups will be organized in such a way that all students participate in it. Students will learn about learning strategies and techniques in different types of social interactions in foreign language teaching. They will also learn to apply various social forms in teaching: conducting interviews, discussions, moderating activities, evaluating the performance of respondents, resolving conflicts in the classroom, etc. To improve interactions, they will learn to use various forms of observation, recording and applying them. When teaching a foreign language, they learn to take into account intersubject relationships. Students will acquire the necessary skills needed to build and maintain a language portfolio.

- Self-study instructions will be provided through initial consultations, in the study support containing specific self-study tasks and comprehension checks and also references to the recommended literature.
Students will hand in the completed tasks in writing. These tasks are marked SA in the study support.
