- Course objectives
- Working with text, ie. working with information, their analysis, evaluation and interpretation belong to the indispensable competencies. The course aims to provide the terminological basis necessary for linguistic analysis of texts, to acquaint students with various types of texts and to point out their specific properties at the morpho-syntactic, lexical and stylistic level depending on the intention of the author and the function of the text. The student will not only learn to search for key information in the text and gain knowledge in the field of word formation and stylistics, they will also learn to interpret information mediated through graphs, tables and infographics.
