Course objectives

As part of the course  Dějiny a reálie Itálie 1 -  which is directly followed by  Dějiny a reálie Itálie 2 - students acquire fundamental knowledge and an overview of the history of the Apennine Peninsula. The course’s primary objective is to consolidate students' basic knowledge, expand their historical understanding, and place the information they have gained within a broader pan-European context, including the relationship between Italy and the Czech lands.

Learning outcomes

The knowledge acquired is intended to enable students to navigate the political and economic transformations of various historical periods. The lecture outlines presented here will be supplemented with additional material.
