- Course objectives
- Today, the audiovisual industry uses a large range of devices and equipment that are often very unintuitive to operate or use. Through this course, the student will be prepared to use audiovisual equipment to its full potential while minimizing the possibility of its deterioration or damage. Based on the newly acquired knowledge, the student will be able to better understand the basic principles on which the equipment operates and thus be more aware of the appropriate setting of the equipment in practice under specific conditions. The emphasis will be on the practical part of the course. The student will be able to test all the theory practically on a wide range of different equipment. They will learn how to work with different types of cameras, cameras, audio recorders, microphones, lights and their modifiers, mounts, tripods and other accessories, thus eliminating unnecessary mistakes that novice filmmakers often make when filming. The course will help aspiring filmmakers to produce their audiovisual works with precision in the technical aspect of producing that work. The teachers of the course are active in the field of audiovisual works, follow current trends and technical developments in audiovisual, respond to them and automatically update the course content on an ongoing basis so that the course does not become "outdated".
