Cílem předmětu je seznámit studenty se sociální pedagogikou jako integrální součástí pedagogických vědních disciplín. Jsou probírána jednotlivá témata, která tvoří páteř sociální pedagogiky: biologická a sociální determinace výchovy, socializace, rodina jako výchovná instituce, morální formování člověka ad.
