- Course objectives
- The course provides fundamental knowledge of project management which is necessary for definition of the project, its planning, leading of people and monitoring of the course of the project till its finishing. To introduce the basic principles, instruments and methods of project management. To adopt basic skills used in development projects management. The aim of the tutorial is to introduce fundamental documents for realization of the projects and gain summary of requirements on structure of projects financed from structural funds of EU.

- 1. Structural funds. System of programme documents. Institutional provision of help utilization
2. Programmes of structural help in the Czech republic in years 2004-2006. Primary areas of support.
3. Primary concepts and principles of project management, phases of project and its life cycle
4. Project team, The role of project manager
5. Definition of targets of the project. Selection of target groups.
6. Project planning. Activity schedule.
7. Management of project expenditures. Applicable expenditures. Budget completion.
8. Monitoring and control of the course of the project. Operating statement.
9. Project risks - identification, quantification
10. Obligatory project appendices
11. Horizontal criteria, Evaluation of projects
12. Termination of project - ownership laws, audits, final report
