Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce the modern information and communication technologies and conditions of implementation of technologies into practice to students. The course will comprise improvement of fundamental knowledge and skills in work with digital technologies, i. e. usage of computers for acquisition, processing, classification and categorization of data, next for representation of information and knowledge by means of modern ICT and for understanding the principal of sharing the information, usage of modern communication instruments of global network. The need of manager techniques in the area of ICT increases with increased implementation of Czech companies and organizations in international cooperation which includes project management and project style of company or organization by the means of ICT. The students will gain knowledge in the area of implementation of ICT demanded by practice.
Syllabus
  • 1. Modern information and communication technologies (hardware and software platform)
    2. Searching, processing, classification and categorization of data, sorting and sharing of information in the area of available application in the environment of global networks, validity of information
    3. Administration and sharing of document and experience by the means of modern technologies
    4. Practical usage of digital and mobile technologies
    5. Multimedia presentation, web export
    6. E-learning and video-conference transmissions
    7. Communication means off-line and on-line
    8. Interactive objects and interactive charts as a source for modern means of presentation
    9. Manager techniques and respective application for project management by means of computer
    10. Case study of project management with ICT on selected practical task, development of business with ICT support
    11. Work in social networks, making digitalized sources accessible
    12. Development of communication skills based on ethical and moral rules, safety of information and security policy and valid legislation in intranet and internet networks
