- Processing essay of not less than 7 pages on the topic Comparison of two selected approaches in social work. Each student topic (2 accesses) selects and may consult him within 14 days with the teacher. Literature from which students will draw, will be a minimum range of 3 degrees from the circle of literature base and 1 degree from the circle of literature recommended. The basic criterion for assessing the quality of paper will demonstrate the ability to work with texts, with an emphasis on linking suitable thesis of the individual authors into a coherent logical framework and the ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practice social work
with the client. STAT students surrendered at least two weeks before the credit week that the teacher had the opportunity to work to evaluate and possibly return to reprocessing via e-mail. The consultations (personal, electronic) student may use the time for resolving ambiguities in the processing tasks. STAT is a prerequisite to obtaining credit.

- Course objectives
- LECTURE The course provides a basic understanding of terminology, history and education in social work and introduces students to selected theories of social work and focuses on methods of social work. Briefly outline the problems of specific target groups and work with them in the seminar students will be able to practice the theoretical knowledge test. The aim of this course is to provide a functional connection of the theoretical base with practical application of lessons learned. SEMINAR The seminar focuses on specific training methods and techniques in social work and the skills required for the use of theoretical knowledge from courses in the theory and methods of social work practice. Each student is actively participating in exercises model the situation in regard to the various theories and methods of social work, which will be lit at the lectures. In the seminar, students also discuss the need for timeliness and techniques used in contemporary social work.

The test - preparation of lectures and required reading
Written workin the length of 5 pages on the comparison of two selected approaches in social work (deadline: 8 weeks into the semester). Each student selects topic (2 approaches) and notifies the teacher within 14 days by e-mail. The literature from which learners will draw will be a minimum of 3 titles from the list of required reading and 1 title from the list of the recommended reading. The basic criterion for assessing the quality of the paper will be the demonstration of the ability to work with specialized texts, with appropriate emphasis on linking individual author's thesis into a coherent logical framework and the ability to translate theoretical knowledge into social work practice with clients.
Submitted tasks are checked by the teacher who notify students of any shortcomings or suggestions for revisions in individual or group consultations . Students can use the consultation time (personal or electronic) to discuss problems that come up while working on the written work. The student receives credit upon completion of the tasks .
