Course objectives
The aim of this subject is primarily the development of communication skills, which are a form of practical experiential exercises improvement. It will be focused primarily on interviewing, conflict resolution, options of negotiation. We will also practice expression, techniques of persuasion and leadership meetings. There is used a camcorder for the feedback so each student has the opportunity to assess their speeches and develop the ability to communicate so that the communication reached the desired effect in a particular communication context. For communication, we use topics which are based on the current problems in society or in the interest of the students. At the seminar there is required that each student prepare a short speech on choosen subject. The next task is to write an essay of 4 pages, the topics will be specified during lessons. Study Outcomes: Professional Knowledge: The students will deepen their theoretical knowledge of the subject Communication. A better understanding of theoretical knowledge will be ensured through interactive form of exercise. Professional Skills: The students can communicate properly in accordance with the current communication context. They can use the active listening technique. They can prepare a speech and its presentation. They will be able to test the benefits of teamwork. General Qualification: The students manage feedback control of their own communication and control the body language. They are able to pass the required information to the client in an appropriate, adequately intelligible manner. The students can reflect on the variables of the communication process and appropriately change them to match the recipients communications.
