The student has theoretical and theoretical-practical basis for the enforcement of the practice with the target group that requires a wider range of knowledge and work with it may be significantly more challenging than with the target group in the context of professional practice and. For successful completion of professional practice II., IE. for independent work with the client, assumes an understanding of developmental and social psychology, pedagogy and didiktiky. For successful work with the client is essential and knowledge of social communication, primarily for talks. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The aim of the practical training II is to get experience in common work with the client in the specified devices as well as in the field, get acquainted with its living conditions, needs, verify the theoretical background and get the basic professional skills. In the selected device with the student familiar with the Mission of the device, the composition of the target group of clients, organizational structure, human resources by ensuring linkages to other devices and the local community, the relevant legislation. During the practice will be addressed also teamwork, including cooperation with other organizations and institutions, families, clients, physicians, psychologists, etc. Special practice II will be implemented in the form of individual, continuous pathway (in the range of 6 hours/1 day, 72 hours per semester) in the selected device to the Ministry of labour and Social Affairs, the Ministry of education, youth and sports, Ministry of health and The Ministry of Justice. The practice will be implemented in facilities for the elderly and people with handicaps and other devices approved by the guarantor of the practice.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- describe the mission, goals, organizational structure, staffing of the organization;
- describe and determine the specifics of the target group of equipment;
- classify the provided services according to the relevant ministry and legislation;
- conduct interviews with clients of the facility;
- keep written documentation regarding the clients of the facility;
- suggest suitable activities for the target group;
- implement appropriate activities with the target group;
- write outputs from activities;
- cooperate with the staff of the facility; - Syllabus
- The structure of practice implementation :
1st Clarifying the position of a student in the course of practice.
2nd Defining the mission and goals of the workplace, the target group of clients. Identification of the founder of the facility. Inclusion in social services, education, etc.
3rd Introduction to organizational and personnel structure of the facility. Job descriptions of staff, identification of possible work in a team, the possibility of supervision (internal and external).
4th Introduction to labor legislation and regulations governing staff in the organization.
5th Defining typology of client problems withinthe facility.
6th Method of data management for clients, client's personal protection against possible misuse of personal information.
7th Methods and approaches to clients used in the workplace. Students are observed working with a client in the workplace.
8th Students are observed working with a client in the workplace.
9th Individual work with clients under professional management staff.
Overall assessment of the practice in terms of the use of theoretical knowledge and its application in practice.
Seminar
Professional Practice consists of practical training and seminars. In the seminar, students will be able to reflect on their experience of the individual facilities. It will include mentoring students in preparation for working directly with clients.
The seminar will take place in a group led by a qualified supervisor experience.
It aims to extend the theoretical knowledge and practical experience, particularly in the field of prevention of socially pathological phenomena in various types of facilities. The seminar will be used to analyze non-standard situations and finding an appropriate procedure for their solution.

1st Introduction to the practice.
2nd Characteristics of the facilities and how they compare in terms of job descriptions and target groups.
3rd Methodology gaming activities and activities within the practice.
4th Possibilities of prevention of socially pathological phenomena in various types of facilities.
5th Continuous preparation activities in practice (time allocation, structure and content of training, work with the group).
6th Possibilities of emergency response.
7th Analysis and evaluation of implemented practices.

- Credit will be awarded for:
- regular attendance at internships, completion of 72 hours of internships,
- positive evaluation of the completed practice by the trainer in the facility,
- approval of the content of the practice diary by the teacher, with emphasis on observation outputs and separate entries,
- active participation and attendance at the seminar on Professional Practice II,
- fulfillment of continuously assigned tasks by the teacher
