- Course objectives
- The aim of the Portfolio course is to enable students to systematically document, reflect on, and present their study outcomes from individual disciplines in order to demonstrate their acquired competencies and readiness for professional practice.
- Learning outcomes
· systematically collect, sort, and structure study outputs (professional papers, projects, research tasks, reflections on practical experience, etc.) into a comprehensive portfolio,
· justify the selection of individual artifacts in relation to the development of specific professional and vocational competencies,
· connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience and demonstrate its application in specific outputs,
· formulate a professional and self-reflective analysis of one's own learning, professional progress, and areas of strength and development,
present one's portfolio as a whole at the final state examination as proof of the level of professional competence achieved.- Syllabus
- The course is designed as a systematic creation of a professional study portfolio. Completion of the Portfolio course is part of the requirements for the final state examination.
Students include in their portfolios outputs from selected completed courses in the study program that demonstrate the achievement of professional, vocational, and transferable competencies. These are outputs from the following courses:
- Professional Practice I, II, and III
- Preventive Activities
- Case Study Seminar
- Analysis and Strategy in Social and Pedagogical Practice
- Methods and Techniques of Social Research
Only outputs for which the student has already received a grade (credit or classification) in the given subject may be included. The outputs may not be subsequently edited in terms of content; they are included in the portfolio in the form in which they were assessed within the subject.
Formal requirements and text editing are based on the principles for writing a bachelor's thesis (see Dean's Methodological Instruction No. 1/2026). The portfolio is submitted in PDF format in a single document to the course submission system, and the student also brings one printed copy to the final state examination.
