Course objectives
The aim of this course is to acquaint students with a comprehensive nursing care of patients suffering from internal diseases. The course describes clinical medicine bases and nursing care of patients suffering from internal diseases. Having finished the course, the students will orientate themselves in the issues of nursing care of the diseased suffering from internal diseases.
Syllabus
  • Course summary:
    1. Description of internal nursing care, specifics of a nursing process in internal medicine, individual stages of the nursing process from the point of view of internal medicine.
    2. Fundamentals of pharmacotherapy in the internal medicine.
    3. Nursing care of patients suffering form respiratory system diseases.
    4. Nursing care of patients suffering form circulation system diseases.
    5. Nursing care of patients suffering form venous diseases.
    6. Nursing care of patients suffering form arterial illnesses.
    7. Nursing care of patients suffering form lymphatic system diseases.
    8. Nursing care of patients suffering form gastrointestinal system diseases.
    9. Nursing care of patients suffering form liver, gall bladder, biliary tract and pancreas diseases
