- Course objectives
- The subjects goal is to teach students how to prepare a preventive program on a selected topic and how to be able to implement it in real life with children of a selected primary school. The realization of the subject will also include video outputs that will provide student with feedback, which will allow to continue to work with the teacher.
- Syllabus
- Working with students will be taught by one teacher. Students will be devided into groups according to their preferences. This will take place in their first lesson and will be based on the individual preventive programs topics selection.
Topics of preventive programs:
- Intercultural training programs (MKV)
- Prevention of addictive substances abuse
- Extremism (racism, neo-Nazism, xenophobia)
- Communication and conflict resolution
- I will not let you hurt me (abuse and misuse)
- We all know everything about you (facebook, chat, mobile phones), cyberbullying
- Class groups, class climate
- Allowed and illegal touching - CAN syndrome
-I imagine Friendship quite otherwise (bullying).
The structure of the subject:
1. Information on the primary prevention issue.
2. Information on the principles of work with the class.
3. Preparation of a preventive program in terms of theoretical basis (finding the maximum of most professional information about the selected topic)
4. Preparation of an interactive part of the prevention program for work with the class.
5. Practical training in front of other colleagues from the seminar, analysis, feedback
6. The implementation of the preventive program at a selected elementary school (ensured by the subject guarantor), videotape
7. Analysis of students performance in the classroom using a video and knowledge of the teacher and other students, for possible modification of the preventive program according to this feedback.
8. Supervision seminar for all the groups.
