- Course objectives
- The subject deepens the students´ ability to express themselves actively, fluently and correctly in everyday life situations and in situations linked to the profession. It improves the ability to comprehend the written documents in respective areas, it leads the students to active use of English language. Conversation during the subject contributes not only to extension of competences in international communication but also to cultivation of mother tongue on the basis of realization of lexical, grammatical and stylistic connections. The special attention is paid to terminology related to specialization of the programme.

- The course can also be completed outside the examination period.
- Teacher's information
- It is presupposed the knowledge of English language on intermediate level and passing previous courses of English during bachelor study programme. The students will participate actively in the seminars in order to improve their ability to use English in common situations as well as in their specialization, in combination of both written and spoken language.
Other prerequisites: preparation for seminars according to assigned tasks (own contributions), active participation in discussion, 60 % success rate in control tests, passing final test with success rate higher than 60%.
