Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to intensify the students´ knowledge of methods and methodology, they acquire appropriate skills in their particular application. The students will be able to distinguish eruditely the possibilities and limits of techniques of quantitative and qualitative analysis in relation to their own thesis topic. The emphasis will be put on appropriate formulation of research issue, research aims, research questions and method of research used correspondingly. By means of individual or collective consultations, the supervisor leads the student to gradual elaboration of the diploma thesis project with the aim to proceed, during the process of the diploma thesis preparation, in corresponding extent and level. Under this supervision, the student proves the ability of individual professional work, mastering of relevant professional literature and analysis of research material. The consultations will be held according to the needs of the student with regard to the level and stage of the thesis elaboration process.

The prerequisite of passing the subject is a written report on fulfilling the diploma thesis project, the report includes also the statement of the supervisor.
