Course objectives
The course aims to equip participants with practical skills to help homeless people in the context of social work, social services and community planning and related services. It is also equipped with the necessary theoretical and professional outreach capability for deeper reflection on this problem. Students will have a professional and personal outlook on the complicated issue of the phenomenon of homelessness. Will be equipped with relatively advanced expertise, will know about the problem to think about and will be able to consider (at least partially applied) suitable counseling or therapeutic intervention or intervention in the form of social services, will have knowledge of the basics specifics during counseling work with homeless people and be able to think about appropriate systemic measures. Will be able to inspect the problem complexly, without tendentious simplification. A graduate, who has been with homeless people works, these competencies will enhance and give a significant boost to their everyday demanding job.
