Course objectives
The goal of subject is spread knowledge and skills which stay on the base general management and human resource management. It watching too utilitaristic goal for students - in interactive presentting underline those aspects, which will be for them existentially important for example in searching working place after graduation, concretly making professional CV and motivational sheet, selfpresentation in choosing and obtaining work place, orientation (inductive sheet), possibilities realizing diagiagnostic methodics in reseiving work possition, or professional career plannig.
Syllabus
  • 1. Definition of key categories and terms; before-classic management, classic management (science, byrocratic, administrative, classic in our conditions); behavioral, modern, epiric and post-modern management; reprezitatives of particular "schools";
    2. Characteristics of Evropean, American and Japan management;
    3. Subject of management; direction in 3th milénium; preparation forms and methods, competences development and cultivation;
    4. Roles of management; planning, organizing, leading of people, controle, decizion making;
    5. Subjects and objects of management;
    6. Principles of management;
    7. Human resources managemnet/Personnel management and his tasks in institution; sense for institution and benefits; actual problems of personnel management in Czech Republic;
    8. Personnel planning - planning of professional career; goal and main tasks of personnel planning;
    9. Creation and analysis work places; recruiting workers; external and internal sources;
    10. Selection workers; assessment candidate; selection criteria, validity and reliability factors using at anticipating succesful work performance (predicatores); phase and methods; presentation of candidate on work place; leading of entrance interviews; taking on and orientation workers;
    11. Assessment of workers; goals, forms, methods and assessment conclusions; placement, laying off and retiring workers;
    12. Education of workers in systém personnel managemnet; formation work abilities workers; identification of eductional needs; planning, methods and effectivity of educational program;
    13. Work relationships and legislative framework of personnel work; work conditions; working time and enviroment; servis for workers; occupational safety and protection workers health ; collective negotiation and trade unions position; work discipline; emploees realtionships; informatic systém in personnel work and information flows;
