Course objectives
The content of the course offers a deeper theoretical background at the level of respective grade in education which is related to contemporary and generally valid social tendencies in the field of Central and Eastern Europe which belongs to the key questions of social inclusivity. This touches the aimed active support in the elementary areas of quality of life of people from minorities, which are imminently at risk of social exclusion, or they are already socially excluded. The attention is paid to objectively critical, analytic-semantic and comparative approach to political aspect of so called the Copenhagen criteria in the frame of territorially determined and strategically or conceptually concept of social inclusivity of the target groups which primarily belong to a minority. The connecting line of the individual units of the course is denotation and connotation theoretical determination and sociological interpretation of the phenomenon of social inclusivity. It follows the already gained knowledge, skills and respective competences gained by passing the bachelor´s study.

    2. Issue of social diversification of minorities, classification and their interpretation criteria
    3. Socio-historical connections to minorities in the area of Central and Eastern Europe
    4. Principal legislative frame of national and supranational level regulating the questions of social inclusivity
    5. Concealed and obvious factors of social exclusion of minorities in the area of Central and Eastern Europe
    6. Internal impacts of social exclusion of the minorities in the area of Central and Eastern Europe in the selected fields of social inclusivity: education, employment, living and social services
    7. External impacts of social exclusion of the minorities in the area of Central and Eastern Europe on the selected fields of social inclusivity: education, employment, living and social services
    8. Strategic and conceptual documents taking into consideration political aspects of so called the Copenhagen criteria with emphasis on minorities in the area of Central and Eastern Europe
    9. Confrontation of strategic and conceptual documents in the intentions of national and supranational perspective

Teacher's information
Study of recommended literature sources, strategic and conceptual documents from the territorial space of Central and Eastern Europe, including the selected casuistic studies to studied issue. The course is terminated in a combined form, i.e.:
1) critical discourse analysis of previously assigned topic in the extent of 5-10 standard pages and its presentation in which the student will prove the required subject-field familiarity and
2) written verification of knowledge by means of 10 closed and 5 open questions.
