Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
This subject is aimed at enlarging knowledge in the frame of general English. The plan of the course is based on presumption that the students have already studied English at least as the second language. This knowledge will form the basis and the aim is to develop the students in the area of reading with comprehension, listening with comprehension, conversation, use of English (in this part, the word stock will be widen with focus on word building and the ability to use grammatical rules will be developed). Essential part of this subject is specialised English. The topics will correspond to specialization of the students. This section will be focused on ability to communicate and development of word stock of given topic and is composed as a super-structure part of the whole course. The materials will be chosen mainly from the web pages of European Union. The stress will be put on all levels of language study: Grammar, Writing, Listening, Speaking and especially on part GRAMMAR. The subject is intended for students of Department of public administration and regional policy only.
