Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide the students, in three blocks, with development and structure of political discipline, with fundamental disciplines and the most important issues of present politics and with the role of the country and public administration in political processes. The first deals with political science, political philosophy and political ideology as well as issue of democracy and totalitarianism, the next provides brief typological survey of democratic governmental systems, political parties and partial systems, the final part is dedicated to selected issues of political communication, political geography, vertical division of state power and the role of public administration in political processes.

Credit requirements: production of a selected topic in the range of 6 to8 pages. Written exam to verify knowledge of the terminology of politics, knowledge of theoretical findings and skills of their applications.
