- Course objectives
- The aim is to get an overview of what is private law, how it is implemented and how it works after in terms of procedure.
- Learning outcomes
- Professional knowledge:
At the end of this course, students will be able to understand the basic principles of private law.They will be able to use basic concepts and will be well versed in the institutions central to private law.Students will be especially able to interpret the general parts of the Civil Code which form the basis of the regulation of new private law.
Professional skills:
Having completed the course, students will be able to apply basic knowledge of private law in practice in conjunction with public law,especially in the area of protection of personality, family law, inheritance, property law, obligations, and unfair competition.
General qualification:
Having completed the course, students will be able to use knowledge independently in their own practice. - Syllabus

- Instruction in person is conducted through a system of discussion consultations on selected topics in the scope of 12 hours.The part-time study material is accessible in an e-learning course environment at the e-portal http://elearning.fvp.slu.cz/, where various individual tutorials are conducted according to the subject matter overview and under the guidance of the instructor.This environment also provides individual students with consultation of selected problematic units in elaboration of topics and objectives of the thesis.Electronic study material is published for instruction purposes.
