Course objectives
The aim of the course is to equip students with knowledge that they will be able to use not only in their studies and internships, but also in the work of a social worker or civil servant. The course focuses on the psyche of the individual, the "I" of the individual, his thinking, experiencing, acting/behavior. Part of the teaching will be devoted to awareness of professional identity and the limits of the profession from the point of view of human resilience with an emphasis on the strengths and resources of individuals, families and groups. The main aim is to understand the behavior/acting, experiencing and thinking of a person (including one's own) in dynamic social interactions as a "person in a (specific) situation", "person on a (life) path" and "person in cooperation with others". Special psychological laboratories and psychodiagnostic tests will be used during the seminars, the environment of the so-called special interrogation room for particularly vulnerable victims will be used for self-experience, technical equipment will be used and video training of interactions will be conducted. These lessons can then be discussed during individual consultations with students and any shortcomings will be further worked on.
