Prohloubit již dosažené znalosti gramatického a lexikálního systému anglického jazyka v kombinaci s intenzivním nácvikem čtyř jazykových dovedností v komunikativním kontextu. Aplikací zajímavých textů a nahrávek naučit studenty používat anglický jazyk v běžné obchodní komunikaci. Seznámit je se způsoby tvoření a obohacování slovní zásoby. Vést studenty k uvědomělému a cílevědomému používání jazyka v komunikaci jak z hlediska plynulosti, tak správnosti.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • 1. A new project Tense review; Present Simple and Continuous, action and state verbs. Introductions and greetings; Welcoming a visitor.
    2. A better way of working
    Past Simple and Present Perfect Simple review, used to + infinitive, subject and object questions. Company and job profile; Making and changing appointments.
    3. World cities
    Comparative and superlative adjectives, a lot of / much, slightly / a little, relative clauses, numbers; compounds and collocations.
    Expressing opinions; Chairing a meeting.
    4. Changing trends
    Present and past trends, adjective vs. adverbs; Numbers and percentages.
    Advice and suggestions.
    5. The challenge of the century
    Past Simple active vs. Passive, Past continuous, Past Perfect, gerunds.
    Requests and offers; Exchanging information.
