Course objectives
The course introduces students to the development of the world economy since ancient times, over a period of overseas discoveries, expansion of Europe until now, when the world economy in the traditional sense converted to a globalized economy. Students are introduced with the main development trends and the factors that caused and their impact on economic development. Interpretation is structured according to the time point of view, considerable attention is devoted to the development of the early 21st century. The course further develops the skills acquired in the course the world economy.

    8. Imperial period of development in the first World War
    9. Developments in the world economy in the interwar period
    10. Developments in the world economy after the second World War in the late 20th century
    11. Globalizing World Economy 70-90 the 20th century and the role and importance of information technology services
    12. The world economy in the early 21st century
