Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students with the possibilities of using computer technology at all levels of managing the company, to show the process of creating the information system, their analysis and synthesis and the need of interaction between author and user of the system. Students will learn the basic principles of operation and maintenance of the company information system based on modern information technology. They will Become familiar with the architecture of the information systems, their evaluation, obtaining information from the business environment and with the use of computers to support decision-making.

    1. Information strategy, information system requirements, possibilities of use of company information systems in the management of major internal business processes.
    2. Strategy and planning, acquisition (purchase and development), implementation (introduction), operation and maintenance, decommissioning.
    3. Information support of various levels of management, decision-making support systems, management information system, integrated systems of company management, advanced planning systems, management of supplier-consumer chains, data warehouses.
    4. Systems for managing production processes, systems for creating technological processes, system for production planning, manufacturing resources planning systems, computer support of quality management, computer support of construction works.
    5. Marketing IS, marketing intelligence system, marketing research system, promotion of trade, support of services, customer relations management
    6. The processes of economic company management, economic IS, Cash Flow Management application
    7. Strategic controlling, operational controlling, planning and analytical processes.
