- Course objectives
- Course objectives: The aim of the first year is to bring the students level B1. Communication skills in a foreign language are oriented to the common professional situations, as well as the ability to navigate the language in a wide range of issues of daily professional reality. All four types of skills are developed comprehensively - speaking, reading, listening and writing. Emphasis is placed on active speaking, the language readiness and ability to express themselves fluently in a foreign language environment. Systematically leads to obtain international certificates at B1a to prepare for the next international tests. The course aims to introduce students the ways of creating and enriching vocabulary and also lead students to conscious and purposeful use of language in communication from both fluency and grammatical accuracy. Student will be able to read simple texts on economics, management, marketing and finance and comment on them.

Requirements on student:
The course is finished by the course-credit.
Students will prepare a speech for the oral ongoing test to one of the above topics in the curriculum, which is evaluated by the teacher in the range from 0 to 20 points depending on the level of the speech. The written test is set at 20 points, the credit test at 60 points.
