- SMART solutions in the economy, benefits and costs of SMART solutions, cost-benefit analyses, external effects and technology, resources, and limits of the SMART economy, Quaternary sector.
- 2. Foundational Concepts of the SMART Economy
- Circular economy, sharing economy, sustainable development, Smart city concept.
- 3. Industry 4.0
- The Fourth Industrial Revolution. Internet of Things, Internet of Services, digital economy. Industrial automation. Economic benefits and consequences of Industry 4.0. The role of Industry 4.0 in the global economy.
- 4. The Labor Market in the Context of Industry 4.0
- Labor market, human capital, qualifications, and workforce in the context of the Industry 4.0 concept. Education and innovation in technical education, new needs of the education system. Society 5.0.
- 5. Industry 4.0 and SMART Economy in the Czech Republic and the World
