Course objectives
The objective of the subject is to provide the students with the form of seminar tuition using professional support at elaboration of the bachelor thesis. The subject is based on the individual consultancy of students with the head of the bachelor thesis. In their terms the students get the knowledge of formal requirements for writing professional graduate texts, the current state of solved problems and last but not least also with research methods fundamental for elaborating the thesis. The subject is also orientated on setting objectives of the bachelor thesis and selection of information sources. Further the students acquaint themselves with the principles of citation ethics and implementation and evaluation of empiric al survey. Subsequently the student will be able to apply acquired competences at writing professional text and to formulate conclusions and recommendations resulting from the performed research. The assignment of the bachelor thesis and implementation of the seminar, including tuitions to the particular theses is performed by particular heads of theses of the SU OPF. The selection of the bachelor thesis themes is 31.5. at the latest till of the summer semester of the 2nd term of the bachelor study and details for the assignment of the bachelor thesis to be submitted till 30.10. at latest of the winter semester of the 3rd term of the bachelor study. Syllabus
  • The content aspect of the seminar is to provide the students with the form of assignment and technology of elaborating the bachelor thesis in concurrence with collection and study of the professional literature and special working experience. The assignment of the bachelor thesis and seminars, including tuitions to the particular theses is performed by particular departments of the OPF.
    The selection of the bachelor thesis themes is till 31.5. at the latest of the summer semester of the 2nd term of the bachelor study and details for the assignment of the bachelor thesis to be submitted till 30.10. at the latest of the winter semester of the 3rd term of the bachelor study. Particular departments are responsible.
