Course objectives (in Czech)
Prohloubit již dosažené základní znalosti gramatického a lexikálního systému anglického jazyka v kombinaci s intenzivním nácvikem čtyř jazykových dovedností v komunikativním kontextu. Aplikací zajímavých textů a nahrávek naučit studenty používat anglický jazyk v běžné obchodní komunikaci. Seznámit je se způsoby tvoření a obohacování slovní zásoby. Vést studenty k uvědomělému a cílevědomému používání jazyka v komunikaci jak z hlediska plynulosti, tak správnosti.

  • 1. Working in another country
    Present Perfect Simple and Continuous, since and for.
    Opinions and suggestions; Agreeing and disagreeing.
    2. A new luxury hotel
    Futures: Present Continuous, going to.
    Invitations.
    3. Europe's high speed future Future
    Will; 1st conditional, time clauses.
    Offers and requests.
    4. Cities in crisis 2nd conditional.
    Asking for information.
    5. Communicating across cultures
    Modal auxiliary verbs: should, must, may.
    Social responses.
    6. Champagne
    Passives: Present Simple, Past Simple, Present Perfect.
