Course objectives
Physical education and sports activities for students in master's degree program aims to build on students previous experiences with physical activities. The aim is to promote and facilitate physically active way of life even in adulthood. Another aim of our program of optional recreational and sports activities is an individual choice of health related physical activity on the basis of - interest, health, physical fitness, time available, previous sports experience, etc. The offer of particular specializations is due to the interest of the students, season of sports, material and human resources, financial allocation, availability of suitable teaching space etc. partly restructured in each semester. The variety and diversity of the sports specializations is the main characteristic of this program. The specializations are in many cases internally subdivided into basic training and sports performance training, according to the level of students and teaching sequence. Teaching may take the form of regular semester teaching a form of short-term intense sports camps and form of block teaching.
Syllabus
  • The course of physical training and sports activities contains mainly the following specializations: aerobic and fitness training, aquaerobic, fitness training, crossfit, health and fitness swimming, spinning, health activities and rehabilitative exercises, self defense, aikido, badminton, bowling, table tennis, tennis, squash, basketball, futsal, football, volleyball, beach volleyball, floorball, ball hockey, ice hockey, softball and baseball, non-traditional sports, darts, in-line skating, hiking, biking and more according to conditions.
    Custom semester teaching is divided into individual lessons that can be incorporated as needed into blocks:
    1. Familiarity with local conditions and the safety rules for doing sports activities. Diagnostic of levels of health and physical prerequisites for concrete sports specialization.
    2. - 3. The specifics of training the body to physical load , the rules of sports competitions , training and improvement of musculoskeletal framework of the sports specialization.
    4. The game and its importance in human life. Game with modified rules.
    5. - 6. Health oriented physical exercises and rehabilitation unilaterally oriented physical activity. Training and improvement of musculoskeletal framework of the concrete sports specialization.
    7. Games and competitions of concrete sports specialization. Games with modified rules.
    8. - 9. Individual technique and tactics, team tactics and participation in team performance.
    10. Games and competitions of concrete sports specialization.
    11. Performance-oriented training of concrete sports specialization. Organization of competitions and races.
    12. Games and competitions of concrete sports specialization.
    13. Games and competitions of concrete sports specialization. Evaluation of teaching .
