Course objectives
The aim of the course is to inform students about basic principles of Environmental management - complex system of rules and procedures in Czech republic as well as worldwide which might try to create and to protect conditions of the Environment. It covers characteristics of Environment from point of view of governmental policy and, also, defines the system of management such EMS, EMAS, BS 7750, procedures of implementation the ISO 14000 and EMS audit. The risk management and crisis management within environmental issues are mentioned, too. The legislation and international cooperation is also content of the course as well as sustainable growth, issues of renewable sources of energy and its utilization, policy of Environment prevention and evaluation of harmful influence on the Environment.
