The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The goal of the subject to prepare students for orienting and acquiring skills in the area of tourism, especially applying theoretic knowledge to the practice of travel agencies, transport and information tourist services, as well as insurance, conference and wellness, and other services. Students will learn about procedures related to providing domestic and international tourist services, and about their economic, institutional and legislative framework.

  • 1. Tourism, tourist services, basic specifics and division
    2. Tourism in national economy, satellite participation of tourism
    3. International tourism market, consumption, offer and demand in tourism
    4. Economy and management of regional tourism
    5. Significance of tourist companies in providing services to customers
    6. Institutional management of tourism, organization and international cooperation in tourism
    7. Management of operating and organizational structure of companies providing services in tourism.
    8. Human resources management in tourism
    9. Design of a business plan and strategy of selling products of travel agencies.. Guide services
    10. Services in transport companies, using services of railway, air, water and bus transport in tourism
    11. Information services in tourism
    12. Insurance in tourism. Customs and passport services.
    13. Economy of tourism, conference, wellness and other services in tourism
