Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with basic concepts of information management such as data, information and knowledge in the context of information and knowledge society. The course is also focused on trends in information and knowledge management and modern technology.

Assessment methods
Requirements for the student: minimum 50 % attendance at seminars, preparation and presentation of seminar work, involvement in project teaching. Evaluation methods: preparation of seminar work (30 % evaluation), involvement in project teaching (30 % evaluation), written examination (40 % evaluation).
