- Cílem předmětu je zvládnutí základů teorie fuzzy množin a jejich aplikaci se zaměřením na využití v rozhodování v různých oblastech lidské činnosti. Obsahem seminářů je řešení příkladů k jednotlivým tématům látky probírané na přednáškách.

- Fuzzy sets and systems (FS) ? definitons and preliminars, examples, operations with FS.
t-norm, t-conorm, Aggregation operators.
Fuzzy numbers (FN) (konvex set, triangular fuzzy number, L-R FN, trapezoidal FN).
Extension principle, extension of operations with FN, T-norms and T-conorms.
Probability, possibility and fuzzy measure, probability and possibilty of fuzzy event.
Type-2 Fuzzy sets and Systems.
Fuzzy relations.
Fuzzy systems, linguistic variable, fuzzy linguistic systems, Fuzzy logic.
Fuzzy sets and expert systems, Fuzzy regulation, Mamdanis and Sugens fuzzy regulators, examples of fuzzy regulators, application in industry.
