Course objectives
Students will acquire basic knowledge of applications of partial diffferential equations needed for further study of mathematics, as well as for completing the course of Applications of Partial Differential Equations. Contents of the course cover part of the requirements specified for the Final State Examination.
Syllabus
  • Review of basic concepts and results of functional analysis and function spaces.
    Generalized formulations of stationary problems, their finite-dimensional approximations and solutions.
    Evolution equations.
