Essential notions and principles of probability theory and mathematical statistic.
  • 1. Statistical events and statistical surveys.
    2. Randomness and probability.
    3. Probability distributions and measure theory.
    4. The characterization of probability distributions.
    5. Special probability distributions.
    6. Central limit theorem.
    7. Point estimates. Maximum likelihood method.
    8. Interval estimates.
    9. Hypothesis testing: parametric tests.
    10. Special parametric tests.
    11. Hypothesis testing: non-parametric tests.
