- Course objectives
- Students will acquire basic knowledge of applications of partial diffferential equations needed for further study of mathematics, as well as for completing the course of Applications of Partial Differential Equations. Contents of the course cover part of the requirements specified for the Final State Examination.

- Review of basic concepts and results of functional analysis and function spaces.
Generalized formulations of stationary problems, their finite-dimensional approximations and solutions.

- Požadavky pro získání zápočtu: minimálně 4 vyřešené problémy formou domácího úkolu, referát na cvičení na tému, na které so student domluví s cvičícím.
Zkouška: znalost látky v rozsahu probraném na přednáškách - jenom ústní zkouška, 3 okruhy otázek - teoretická (věta, definice, důkaz), praktická (přiklad) a aplikace teorie na problém. - Further comments (probably available only in Czech)
