Lesson Plan: Homelessness
In this lesson, we will focus on the topic of homelessness. First, we will start with a brainstorming session, where students will think of words and ideas that come to mind when they hear the term homelessness.
Next, we will watch two videos – one about homelessness in the Czech Republic and the other about homelessness in Finland.
After the videos, students will be divided into groups of five. Each group will work on a presentation on the topic: "How to solve homelessness?" The task is to create a program or intervention strategy to tackle homelessness as a group.
Students are encouraged to combine insights from both videos and develop their own innovative approach to addressing homelessness.
