The course Managerial Economics aims to familiarize students with basic concepts related to business economics and managerial economics. This course deals with operating profit from a business perspective, gross profit from a managerial perspective, and working capital management. The student is introduced to the basic principles of cost controlling and transfer rates between cost centers, preparedness for inventory management is specified, and the analysis and evaluation of the production process is presented from the perspective of both production capacity and optimization of the quantity produced. The student is introduced to the orientation in management analyses from a managerial perspective. The student will learn the essence of capital structure optimization and will know how to use the concept of financial leverage. The student will be introduced to the value chain of internal processes and economies of scale.
