Ačkoliv jména upadnou v zapomnění, duše jejich nositelů zůstanou… Ve starých obrazech restaurovaných fotografií se vybarvuje svět v německy mluvících vesnicích na Jesenicku z přelomu 19. a 20. stol. Přehlídku nostalgických záběrů obyčejného života doprovází vyprávění místního obyvatele a přítele autora fotografií. Ten zasněně, s maloměstskou skromností a s humorem komentuje vzpomínky na svého přítele Rudyho a místa spojená s konkrétními fotografiemi. Malebné záběry ze „stereo aparátu“ jsou dílem umělce Rudyho Kleina, přičemž tzv. stereo aparát označuje techniku snímání skrze dva objektivy vzdálené od sebe stejně daleko jako lidské oči. Všední, a přesto neopakovatelné okamžiky z dávné minulosti k nám mohou díky Rudyho práci promlouvat s živou naléhavostí…
Although the names will fall into oblivion, the souls of their bearers will remain… In old pictures of restored photographs, the world in the German-speaking villages in Jeseniky at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries is painted. The show of nostalgic shots of ordinary life is accompanied by the narration of a local resident and friend of the author of the photographs. He comments dreamily, with small-town modesty and humour, on the memories of his friend Rudy and the places associated with specific photographs. The picturesque shots from the "stereo apparatus" are the work of artist Rudy Klein, the so-called stereo apparatus referring to the technique of taking pictures through two lenses as far apart as human eyes. Mundane yet unrepeatable moments from the distant past can speak to us with vivid urgency thanks to Rudy's work…
